Apply a discount code to your order


If you have been provided with a discount code, you will be able to type in the code after you have completed your ticket selection.

Note: Discount codes provided for a past event may not be available for use in future events, please contact the Organizer for more information.


Receive member pricing

 

If you have an active membership your organization, you are eligible to receive member pricing. If you are a member of a chapter in your organization and another chapter is holding an event you would like to attend, you are still eligible for member pricing.  Not all events have member pricing, but if they do, then you will need to click the login button on the upper right, and log in using the one-time code feature.  Login with password is only for members that have their own memberplanet account (not required unless you are an admin of a chapter).  If you do not receive the one-time code, please contact your group administrator or support@billhighway.com to confirm you are showing as a member of your group.

Check out for events consists of three pages:

1. Ticket selection and discount code application

2. Registrant(s) information and custom question completion

3. Payment

 

Once you have completed your event checkout, you will land on a confirmation page which will include your tickets.  Your tickets will also be emailed to you.


Troubleshoot problems registering for an event

 

If you have trouble registering for an event, make sure all your billing information is entered correctly and that the form is filled out completely. You can also clear your browser's cache and cookies or use a different web browser to complete your order. If your event is using non-memberplanet processor for checkout, you’ll need to contact the processor's support for help.


Your credit or debit card was declined.
If your credit or debit card is declined, check to make sure the following information is entered correctly and try again:

  • Card Type — Select the type of card you are using, like Visa or Mastercard.
  • Card Number — Card numbers are usually 16 digits long.
  • Expiration Date — If your card is expired, you will need to use a different card.
  • CVV Code — This is the 3-digit security code on the back of your card. Select “What's this?” on the registration form to learn more.
  • Billing Address — The address associated with the card you're using.

    If your credit or debit card is still being declined: 
  • Make sure you're not using a government-issued card or a pre-paid gift card. These may be declined for various reasons.
  • Contact your bank or credit card company
  • Try using a different card 

Any abandoned charges on your statement should drop off of your account within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank or credit card company. 

You receive a pop-up saying you are already registered for this event

This pop-up means that you are already registered for the event.  If you did not receive an order confirmation email, please contact the event contact and they can resend. If you want to register a second time, or register another person with your email address, you can select Yes to proceed to registration.

 

If you have other issues, please review the following:

  • An overloaded web browser can cause things like missing fields or unresponsive buttons. This can prevent you from being able to register successfully. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try to register again.
  • Make sure your web browser is up to date or try using a different browser.
  • Tickets for the event are unavailable or sold out.  Different messages show on the event listing when tickets are sold out or unavailable:
    • Sold Out: If there are no tickets left for sale, contact the event organizer to see if you can still register.
    • Sales ended: Ticket sales have closed.
    • N/A or Unavailable: Tickets are not available to the general public.
    • There's not enough time to complete an order.
      • Events with a lot of questions take longer to register. If you don't have enough time to complete your order, contact the event organizer and ask them to increase the time limit.
    • You registered for an online event but can't access it.  Event organizers are responsible for providing instructions on how to join their virtual events. If you're having trouble joining a virtual event, contact the event organizer.

Duplicate/Pending Charges

The most common reason duplicate charges may appear on your statement is declined purchases. Declined charges will show as pending but should disappear within 5 - 7 business days. If they don't, contact us for assistance.

Get a receipt for your tickets

 

A confirmation of your order will be emailed to you after check out If you need a more formal receipt, invoice, or your order confirmation email resent, please contact the organizer of your event.


Edit your order information

 

If organizer's have enabled the option to allow RSVPs to be edited, you will have the option to update the basic information and any additional fields included in your event. 

 

1. To edit your tickets, use the "Go to my Tickets" option from your event confirmation email.

2. Select the pencil icon to the right of your Basic Information or Tickets to edit the information.

3. Select Save to complete

When you order tickets on memberplanet, a confirmation is sent to the email address you entered for the order.


Transfer tickets to someone else

It is not possible to transfer a ticket from one account to another. Instead, you can edit your order information to put your ticket under someone else’s name and email address (if you see the option). The original ticket buyer needs to perform the transfer in this case or contact the event organizer for assistance.


Request a refund


Third-party event organizers create and manage the events on memberplanet. They’re responsible for setting their own refund policies and issuing refunds. If an event attendee would like a refund for tickets purchased they should send a request to the event organizer.


Cancel your free registration

 

You will want to contact your event organizer to cancel your event registration as  they will need to complete steps to increase ticket inventory with your cancellation.

If your event has added Organizer contact information, this can be found within your tickets.

 

1. From your confirmation email, select the Go to my Tickets option

2. Select Contact Organizer to display their included information


Join an online event

 

If your event is an online event, but you are unsure how to join, you will want to contact the Organizer for specific information on joining/call in information.
